9.      PUBLIC HEARING – SPEED HUMP REQUEST 2600 BLOCK CREST
Decision Required: Whether to grant.

The Town Clerk has verified the validity of the petition.  The Mayor will open the Public Hearing and take citizen input on the matter for consideration.

10.     PUBLIC HEARING – CONSTANT YIELD
Decision Required: Whether to change the tax rate.

The Town is required by law to hold a public hearing in the event the tax rate is not going to be reduced to establish a constant yield from the amount collected last year.

11.     ADOPTION CHARTER RESOLUTION CA-1-11 AMENDING ELECTION
Decision Required: Whether to move to adoption.

This has been discussed at previous meetings regarding the Town of Cheverly’s election clerk requirements.  Currently, the Town requires the Town Staff to be registered voters.  This will remove this requirement.

12.     SECOND READING O-5-11 AMENDING THE SIGN SECTION
Decision Required: Whether to move to second reading.

This is an addition to our existing Code that tightens the culpability of responsible parties for the illegal posting of signs/bills on public rights-of-way.  This change will strengthen the Town’s ability to enforce the fining of persons for posting illegal signs/bills.

13.     ADOPTION FY 12 BUDGET AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
Decision Required: None.

This matter will be open for public comment.  Enclosed are the replacement pages for insertion in your budget as a result of changes made to date.
